Thanks Jane. This was in the UK. In this article I'm commenting on a particular aspect of my experience. Much of it was positive. I'm still good friends with the minister from my childhood church, he's fantastic.

A lot of this stuff came through fairly mainstream Evangelical sources, places like Spring Harvest, Christianity magazine, books I picked up at our local Christian bookshop. It was only when I was interviewing to study theology at university, the interviewer was a priest, that I realised that Christians exist who believe in evolution. That shocked me.
